CSS MasteryIn CSS Mastery Andy Budd delivers a comprehensive resource for designing websites with CSS. The book starts with an overview of the foundations covering some of the most important things to know and implement in xHTML/CSS design. It then continues with layout basics, a recap of the box model and positioning strategies. The next few chapters go over image replacement techniques, styling links styling lists to create navigation bars, styling forms and more. A couple of my favourite chapters are chapter 8: “Hacks and Filters” and chapter 9: “Bugs and Bug Fixing.” The book ends with two case studies by Simon Collison and Cameron Moll.

This book is packed with practical tips and real-world examples. If you are familiar with xHTML and CSS but would like to learn what more is possible with CSS, this book will help you master mode advanced CSS techniques.
