It has been a while since my last post. I have been busy mainly with work projects and studies. But I???m back now and would like to present a recent project I was working on: the redesign of Elite Housings Inc. Elite Housings is wholesale distributor for pager repair parts and accessories. The goals of the redesign was to give a fresh new look to the site and to convey that Elite Housings continually looks for better and more efficient ways to work with its clients. This is the first time I developed a site with Rails and it has been quite a learning curve for me but I must say that it has been a pleasure. Most of the site structure is based on Beginning Ruby on Rails E-Commerce book by Hellsten and Laine. However, as with many projects, I had to adapt the book???s example to the project???s specific requirements. Anyhow, if you have a free minute, please check out the new Elite Housings web site.
